 | The first vehicle ever to officially be named as its own hashtag, the run of #PinkBeetle models are available in coupe and convertible and have gone on sale. The pink Bug appeared in concept form as the Volkswagen Beetle Pink Edition at the 2015 New York International Auto Show. The production version wears vibrant Fresh Fuchsia Metallic paint, accented by glossy-black mirror caps and black running boards. Bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED taillamps and LED rear license plate lighting are standard. |
| The #PinkBeetle sports a tartan plaid seat pattern in, naturally, pink. Standard features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, VW's 6.3-inch touch-screen multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, heated front seats and keyless access with push-button start. The #PinkBeetle uses the regular Beetle's base turbocharged, 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 170 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque.
