| Chevrolet put its sixth generation Camaro ZL1 to the test on the Nürburgring Nordschleife race track in western Germany and came out with a record time. With a time of 7:29.6, the 2017 ZL1 shaved nearly 12 seconds off the previous generation’s record run of 7:41.27 in 2012 on what is considered the world’s most challenging track. The sixth-generation Camaro ZL1 is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V-8 engine that makes 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. The ZL1 also features the Chevy's all-new 10R90 10-speed automatic transmission. |
