Caterham Seven 620S

The Caterham Seven 620S is a factory built car, hand-built in Dartford, Kent. It boastes a 310bhp two-litre, supercharged Ford Duratec engine of 310 BHP that delivers a 0-60 Mph in 3.44 seconds onto a top speed of 145Mph.

Its mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, and features such creature comforts such as a heater, full windscreen, hood and side screens and leather seats.
It’s a health and safety expert’s worst nightmare. To make things worse for the clipboard types, it’s just as fast (if not faster) than an Audi R8, a Porsche 911 Turbo and/or most Ferraris or Lambos.
The 620S is much like a motorbike with four wheels. It weighs all of 600kg.

The only crumple zones are you and your lower legs. The heater is effectively the gearbox tunnel, the sound system is the exhaust pipe and the roof is made of vinyl.
For Caterham Seven owners, doors are considered a luxury. The 620S, with its windscreen, foldaway hood, sidescreens, leather seats, heater and 12V (cigarette lighter) socket is practically Rolls-Royce-like. Driving one puts your bum nearly scraping the road. It isn't for everybody.

The car starts at $ 44,000, pounds that is, naturally, and that is a major discount on the big names.
