 | The first of the brand-new Ford GT super cars rolled off the line at Multimatic's assembly facility in Markham December 16th. The carbon-fiber, $400,000 supercar sports a twin-turbocharged, 600-horsepower engine.
“When we kicked off 2016, we had two primary objectives for our Ford GT super car – to excel at Le Mans, and to start deliveries before year-end,” said Raj Nair, Ford executive vice-president of global product development. “We’ve achieved both.” Earlier this year, the production of the GT super car was extended by another two years. Ford Performance will re-open the application process in early 2018. |
