The Rolls-Royce Dawn earned Top Gear’s 2016 ‘Luxury Car of the Year’ award. Dawn is the fourth model in the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars family. It's powered by a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 with 563 horsepower and 575 pound-feet of torque. It can go from 0 to 160 in 4.9 seconds on to a top speed 155 miles per hour. Power is channeled to all wheels by a ZF-built 8-speed automatic transmission. The 2016 model year sold out. |
Seats are upholstered in rich leather while the console features book-matched wood accents. | Like other Rollers, it has suicide doors, a very cool retractable hood ornament, and an option list that reaches as far as your bank account. The new Dawn 2017 will accommodate 4 passengers though the automaker claims that in their world 2+2 does not equal to 4. The interior is very quiet and might be the quietest convertible in the world. |
If you are worried about fuel economy (unlikely) it's 19.9 mpg combined. Starting base MSRP for the 2017 model is well, well past $ 250,000. |
